Default browning fury

hi- i know nothing about crossbows but i have one that was passed on to me. it is a BROWNING FURY COMPOUND CROSSBOW MODEL CB6B. it is in excellent shape except for the drawstring (cable). i have taken it to 3 archery stores and all i got was a good laugh. i understand that this model is close to 30 tears old, but why is it impossible to get it restrung. is it only good now for vintage parts

thanks bill

yer in luck! Danny Miller has strings, cables, wheels, and limbs for that bow, which was made by Horton. [740] 483-2312.
