we have had several bills that have been shot down or just ignored, and we have a small group called the NY bowhunters who feel they are the voice for the whole of NY state's hunters who will do whatever they have to do to stop crossbows from coming to NY.
but the good news is that almost every state around us and many more around the country have recently legalized them. it's only a matter of time before the NY Bowhunters selfish misguided ideas get buried for the overall good of hunting in NY state.
