When the strings of my Predator snapped it sounded like a shotgun going off in your face! After two times that was enough for me. My friend has a Barnett Quad 4 and I had been warning him about those bows but he said his has never given him any problems. I know he does not shoot much, so that was probably why. Well, he had a nice big fat doe come under his stand and when he went to shoot it the string blew up and he has no idea where the bolt went. He is pi$$ed.

I have a barnett RC-150 and it seems to be pretty good. However, I also had a Barnett Quad 400 and it blew up on me while taking a shot on the first hunt. Got my money back and won't go back to them. I am going to get a Parker Buck Buster.

I was looking for the beat a dead horse ICON but I couldn't find it.

Maybe someone can start another thread. Reminds me of an ex-girlfriend and her gossip gals.

I'm guessing that the low price point is no longer worth the high disappointment. Besides, he's extolling the wonders of the Tornado which, to the best of my knowledge, he hasn't even shot yet.
