Have you adjusted the stock on your Barnett Predator Crossbow? Is it too noisy for you? I have a solution. I have the solution--a set of acrylic spacers. There are six spacers to a set, each one is a quarter of an inch thick. You can use one or all six. When inserted into the stock of the crossbow it reduces the noise of the extended stock. You guys must be 7 foot tall with arms like a Gorilla to have to extend the stocks. Both of the Barnetts I had with the adjustable stocks were too long with the adjustment closed. I took the adjustable pad and adjusting nut off and added a shotgun rubber recoil pad to the buttend. It came out the same length and softened the recoil. I do like the raised cheekpiece.

I plan to make an extended buttend and raised comb on my Excalibur. It is too short for me.
