Does anyone know what the range differences are between the three dots in this scope? I was thinking about my compounds pins and was dead wrong. Top dot was dead on at 20 yards. Middle dot missed the whole target!!!

That's going to depend on the speed of your arrows. You may have to use more or less hold at 20 to get it hit at 30 etc. Since you didn't say which way it missed (up or down) I can't be more specific.
