???? broadheads????

I'm new to crossbows. I have a brother with some disabilities from an auto accident, and now he has to hunt with a crossbow. He wants to try to hunt again so we need some insight.
Can you use expandable broadheads? (Rage)
Is there a ****ing device where you can use one hand?
Should a guy use carbon or aluminium bolts? or doesn't reall matter.
Thanks for you help and i'm sure i'll be asking more questions.

Rage is a defintite option on crossbows. I have had mixed reviews, but overall people are happy with them A NAP Spitfire is my personal recomendation with crossbows. Every crossbow out there for the most part has cranks available. TenPoints is the best and easiest to use, so generaly I recomend looking at that line first then go from there in your search for a bow...It does not matter, but I prefer Carbon.

Spitfires work But my favorite are Slick Trick mags. Low profile (short) and 4 blades keep them from controlling flight when coupled with arrow of high FOC and 2" Blazer vanes

I used the Trophy Ridge meat seekers and they work great and fly like a fild tip. Buckeyefootball

This twit has shot one lousy deer. A test of one shot with a braodhead doesn't mean doodidly squat.

What I fail to understand is this twit who has only owned one crossbow and for only a short period of time. Has little experience hunting with a crossbow. Chose a crossbow brand that is well below standard from all other crossbow brands, who now he thinks he is an expert and qualified to give people good advice??
Something is definitley out of whack with that!

It's not about him being on a bad side It's about him trying to pretend to be an expert when there is no experience to back it up. It's about him provinding lousy advice that can cause new comers to make bad decisions. It's believing he's a legend in his own mind. It about him constantly changing positions depending on what side of the fence is the best to be on. It's about him failing to grasp what people who have experience and knowledge are saying. It's about him having no common sense and the inability to take several hints. It's about his postings that don't make any sense and are contradictory to the true facts.

I agree with above, TenPoint's cranking device is very simple to use and with a little practice could be used with one hand. Never tried rage with crossbows but Spitfire's work awesome. Bolts are your choice, but I like carbons, my opinion is they are a little more durable than aluminum. Wish him luck and hope you guys find what you need!

i use NAP SPITFIRES on my black widow recurve and they open up nice and go thru deer.i dont use wood arrows i did and they worked fine even tho most recommend they will not.i use alumium arrows mostly now and they work fine.
this year i will be using a crossbow for deer hunting as i am going to be hunting from ground blind and NAP spitfire 100 will be on my arrow 2216.i hurt my back and unable to pull my recurve from treestand and its to hard in blind on ground to use ,so i will be using a crossbow.
