I heard what sounded like a child calling his momma. I really listened and realized it was a fawn bleating. So it was actually a young one calling its momma. I had killed 2 does behind the house the fri. afternoon after Thanbksgiving last year. That fawn proved that the deer are still there. BTW, at 20,30and 40 yds. I am dead on with my crossbow.
