Default New to crossbows...WOW!

After at least a full month of shooting and reshooting, testing and retesting, bench resting and all I decided on the new 10 pt (6pt) Defender CLS. To me it was the quietest, most accurate and best trigger pull of all of the crossbows. This thing is sensational! I can't shoot at the same arrow at 40 yards!

My wife liked the one I bought with the accudraw so much she kept it and make me go buy another one ( I got this one with the accudraw 50). These things are truly sensational. And at about 1/2 the price of the Phantom CLS they are a phenominal buy as well.

Now I just need someone to tell me how to stop the bolts from zipping through all my compound targets. So far the Rinehart 18-1 is the only sure backstops I have found.

God Bless and good luck,

Mark

You made a great choice . Excellent crosbows!

Buy a Spyderweb target. They will stop it with no problem and the arrows can be pulled put with two fingers.

Sighted mine in yesterday, awesome is the only word to describe it
dont shoot groups with it,I had one robin hood at 30 yards and one
at 40 yards, also that Hawke scope is great also!Been shooting since
1956 and had never done that, working on better fletching for this
bow,the feathers I was useing were to tall.

What do you guys think of horton, I've got the xl, seems to shoot well. I mean at 40yds I have a 3-4 in. pattern. I don't know much about them, but it's as good as my compound,,, just faster

Thumbs up

Good luck with your new crossbow and have also heard the spiderweb is a great target.
