RE: What would be better for a crossbow
I like the simplicity of the single red dot. I've got mine sighted in for 20 yards.Arrows hit 2" low at 30 yards and 10" low at 40 yards. I've got several spots marked with small piece of orange tape at 30 yards in a circle around my different stands so that I know where to hold the red dot on a deer, as happened to a doe at 35 yards last week. One of my hunting buddies, however, doesn't like the need to click the red dot to a brightness level based on the lighting conditions around the deer stand, to have to turn it on for it to work, or remember to turn it off before casing it up after using it, so he usesa multi-lined 4X scope. What it boils down to is be sure to shoot something you like and in which you have confidence. Tom
