Im about to purchase a pair of Limb Saver Ultras for the limbs on my exomax im just wondering where they should go..in the middle, closer to the ends or where exactly.

Physics tells us, when dampening vibration, it's normally best to to put the damper as close to the source of the vibration to get the most out of the damper used.
It's proven out here where I work, and it's what I do with mytoys at home.
Others may have their opinions...but it's pretty difficult to beat mother nature.
I tried some about 8" back from the tip of the limbs of my Equinox. All they did was reduced speed by about 10 fps. I'd try close to the riser, if at all.

Mike is right, the noise comes from the limb tips but the closer to the tips the more they rob the arrows of their speed. Experimenting is the key. Chrono the bow before installing and move them until you are happy with the noise vs speed loss.
