Am I the only guy still unable to hunt?

I can't beleive that I'm the only chump out there whose deer season is not yet open. I still have to wait until 10/13 and it just don't seem right.

I just can't imagine that opening it earlier would make a difference in the deer harvest so what the heck is the reasoning behind that one...(sigh)

maybe your Game & fish ppl don't want a big deer harvest or better still there are state government involved with that process of setting opening dates

or maybe they dont want you or any other archer talking all the deer from them there bullet hunters.....

It won't be long now, just another week. I always felt the same way so I started hunting Connecticut. I hunt with a couple of other guys so we split the fuel cost which makes the extra drivingreasonable.

I can take two bucks and will end up with three doe tags. They give doe tags to everyone who applies in my zone. I just don't get it..

If I did anything but laugh at ya I would not be telling the truth!! Your right, with them bag limits it don't make sense. I like getting in the stand early, but the thought of keeping a deer cool if killed, and fighting all the bugs makes me wander sometimes why I am out there.

I'm not offended at all Lawrence. Heck.. You and your boyfriend can come here and get married if you like.

. I can't hunt Sundays and I have to have a trigger lock on my gun when I drive the two miles to where I hunt.

We also have to get the blessing of the local police department in order to get a permit to own a long gun never mind a pistol. If they happen not to like you or whatever your out of luck.. Oh yes I can't buy ammo online or thru Cabelas.

Right now my town is getting set to ban smoking in public places like the beach and the park but their giving away condoms and needles. Oh yeah.. small amounts of weed are gonna be legal come election time.

I feel your pain. But this is what we can expect if the Libs take over and take all our rights away!!!
