Default Can't cock CB by hand. Stryker? Other options?

Accumulated injuries mean I need a cocking device. Chronic tendonitis and a damaged wrist mean I can't grip anything with enough strength to cock a CB. When I decided to try CB six years ago I bought a Barnett Quad 300 package with a windlass. Despite the heavy, scrunchy trigger the Barnett worked and I have killed deer with it...all clean kills, but the windlass trails strings that tangle and are noisy. I shot a Stryker last season. I was impressed, not so much with the speed which seemed overkill, but with the trigger and the internal cocking mechanism. What do you experienced CB types think of the Stryker? Does the Desert Stryker have the internal cocking device? Are there any other options with an internal cocking mechanism?

I bought a Stryker for my first Xbow. I like it but it's hard to transport. It won't fit in the case with the scope on. you need to readjust each time you take it out. I'm considering a 10 point just because I can break it down into a double rifle case to travel with and I have it on trusted words that it shoots good every time.

Accuracy is virtually the same with the Stryker and Phantom. The Stryker is kind of restrictive due to its design and does not lend itself to taking it apart. A Plano case works perfectly WITH the sight on the Stryker.

The case they ship it in does not allow the closure with the sight mounted. Unless I force it. Not sure what damage would occur.

Try a CB with accudraw on it before you make up your mind, I have been using the same one with 2 upgrades for longer than they have called the co. 10point I bought mine back when they called the co. Hunter.
I have replaced the cables once and the string a couple of times used it for hunting and compitition taken 23 deer and a couple of boar with it. Lee

A string cocker reduces force quite a bit. Try that. They are about $20.
