Default Got to hold the Relayer Y25

Went to the Toronto Sportsman Show yesterday and got to look at some of the newer bows. I guess my likes are becoming more and more OLD SCHOOL as I am not really liking the newer bows. The one exception to this was the Excalibur Relayer Y25. The fit and feel of this bow was great. The balance was very comfortable. It did not feel front heavy at all, like most of the newer models. I think the bow was a little heavier then the other Excals, but you did not really notice the extra weight because I believe the balance .

I really do envy those of you that are getting this bow.

I would love to be able to purchase the new Relayer Y25 to be able to be put up beside the orginal Relayer, but there are many other things I could use the money for, which are needed more then a new bow. But it would be sweet. I would have to learn the new bows shooting charastics, but that could be done. I guess all I need to do now is win a loto ..... wait, I would have to first purchase a ticket to do that wouldn't I.

Don that Scropion (Astro Daco) had a few problems which he was suspose to get back in touch with me about. I wanted pictures of the limbs, and would like for him to do the cotton ball test to check for splinters, but I have not heard back from him. Also he told me that the bow was still strung (like always) ......... well 25 years of constantly strung with a single limb is not good. These limbs do fatigue so I would have to do a crono test to see how much that has happened. There is still a slight chance in my opinion that it could still be good for me, so I am still interested. But the limb is the critical part.

But Mike, my OLD RELAYER is just that OLD & lonely ............ You see, I do not have another Crossbow to keep my old bow company like you LOL..

Forgot to mention above, one downfall to this bow was that you can only shoot it one way, that is either right or left handed, not both ways like the regular stocks. I guess all my practicing shooting both left handed and right handed would not work here, a sad downfall forsure. Being able to do that is a great benifit to me. But yea, my handling that bow was trouble, just wanted me to get it
