Default New Ten Point

Just got my new Ten Point(TP) Elite Friday.I had a Barnette and could never get good results with it,bad scope, bad safety, etc.Return the Barnette last summer.I was about to give up on crossbows but decided to give a good one a chance. The Elite was great out of the box.I purchased last years model at a $300 discount. It came with arrows, field points, broadheads, the works.Shoots great to 50 yards,3 inch groups at 50 yards.I know the TP is big bucks but the arrows, broadhead and everything works great together.I will be ready this September for the big one.

"I know the TP is big bucks but the arrows, broadhead and everything works great together"

This is kind of a myth...they have some very inexpensive bows that are in general built better than many other top line models...they just have a reputation of the $2000 bows.

Glad you stuck it out and gave it another try with a better product...good luck

Great shooting bow so far.Have shoot only four sessions, about 15 shots each session.Last session at lasered 50 yards, six arrows in four inch group with three touching. This is with field points. What is the best shooting broadheads? They come with 100 gr SplitFire's,but I was interested in the 100 gr 2 blade Rage, has anyone shoot these in the TenPoint? How about terminal performance? Thanks for all the help from people on this board.Has anyone shoot thru the netting on blinds like the Double Bull blinds with SplitFire's or Rage?Does shooting thur these blinds affect accuracy?

I've been testing arrows and broadheads out of my TenPoint CB I've tested Muzzy 100gr 4blabdes, Muzzy 125gr 3blades, 100gr Spitfires, 125gr Bear Razorheads, 150gr ORIGINAL 3 blade Snuffers, Old 3 blade Bodkins, 2 blade Howard Hill and 100gr SlickTrick 4 blades.

Hands down the Slick Trick flies the best. EXACTLY like a 100gr field tip. Everything I've read about them is true. There is a forum where they do BH testing for terminal performance, penetration, flight etc. Slick Tricks are rated 10 out of 10.

Bottom line is there are lots of broadheads to chose from. Best to test them yourself and chose what flies best for you.
