and went up to take some pictures of the deer at my parents place
they've been hitting the feeder pretty heavily the last few weeks andmy dad says there hasbeen22 at one time so far, they've been coming at all times of the day also so the food in the wild must be getting pretty scarse for them to brave all the activity around the house just to get something to eat
the feeder is only about 25 yards from the house, I took these from the kids' tree fort which is only a few feet from the feeder and about 8-10 feet in the air(its also well built, it looks like awshucks deer stand, only about ten feet in the air), they came in late this nightbecause the kids were out sliding so the picturesdidnt turn out very good because it was getting dark and I didnt want to use the flash and spook them, and then the batteries in the camera went dead anyway so I only got two pictures...
I was also shooting through a screen which I'm sure didnt help
but now that I kind of figured the situation out I'm going to head back up there tomorrow a little better prepared, hopefully I should be able to get some pretty good pictures
finally got my camera back...
