I just got a Barnett Commando CB from a friend. The bow is marked "220 lb. draw", and the string should beapp. 27" long.
Does anybody here know where I can get a replacement string for this CB???
I have searched the whole internett, but can't find such a string.
I live in Norway, Europe, so i'm lookin' for a internet shop selling World Wide.
....but: I belive The Barnett Commando camewith different bows. I have seen people selling them on ebay, but all of them are 175 lb.
Mine is 220 lb.Will thesame stringfit all this models? (150 lb. - 220 lb.) ???
I have written an e-mail to"Barnett Crossbows", but they haven't answered ityet....
If U take a look at the link under, it says that this stringfits Barnett Commando 1 and 2, but this string is 25 5/8"... The string on mine CB is 27"....
Maybe its old and stretched.....?

who came thru for me,dont know where he found them but he was there
when I needed him!He found me cables,strings,and was very careing and helpful,call him,if they are out there he will help you!

Miller: [740] 483-2312. I had a "Commando" 150 # recurve. Neat little bow, but ate servings. Saw a guy looking for string and "cables" for a compound Commando II on another forum a while back, so appatently they made recurves and compounds named Commandos.
There is an arechery shop on Ebay named Ol-Nobul he can make any string you need or any of the equipment you need for your Barnett Commando Crossbow, my address is jtrulyfree@aol.com if you need any other info about the crossbow
