Default Safety Off??? Update on your CB??

You never posted, or maybe I missed it on how things turned out with putting your Excal together. Did you call Dan Miller? Just curious how things worked out on this.

Default RE: Safety Off??? Update on your CB??

I was frustrated and still am. First, I think what happen was the Crossbow I got from Cabelas was a repack. I came to this conclusion because when I took it apart to do what the instructions said, it had already been done? I put it back together. I was shorted one wrench which may have been taken out by whomever did the fix. Actually what the fix was - put in longer screws. The part that got me most pisssed was I bought the crossbow from Cabelas and all the rest of the items from another source (i.e., FFF string, bolts, tips, stringing tool, mount for scope, scope, scope rings, etc). None of that stuffarrived when it was supposed to. When I called to see why my 3 day air package did not come, they said they had a mess up. The items all come in Friday. However, of course I am up in the mountains where I wanted to be with the crossbow. Will not get to put it together until Monday. THEN go through the learning curve of squaring everything up, sighting in, getting some trigger time and then HUNTING.......More to come.

No, did not call Dan yet - will call him later on when I get a list of things to ask him. He sounds like he will be the GO TO GUY -
