Default Excal question

When you redo the center servering is it necessary to resight in or can you just pick it up and go hunting? I have had my 10point for many years and I know redoing the servering does not change the POI but I though I should check befor I go hunting with the Exocet. Lee

Default RE: Excal question

To do the center serving on a FLEMISH string it's best to unwind the string 5 to 6 twists, serve then rewind. In that case I checkpoint of impact (POI). One twist more on one side than the other can change where the bolt hits. Not sure it matters on a conventional string if you don't change the number of twists. BUT, do you really want to be out there, with a chance to shoot the buck of a lifetime, and not be certain about your POI?
