Default crossbow questions

hello to all i am trying to help a friend get his crossbow shooting i am familiar with bows not cb so i have a few questions 1 do you paper tune cb's. 2. this is an older pse viper 150 with a metal looks like an older "flipper rest" can these be changed and if so where does a person locate these? Due to the rest we are having fletch contact with four fletched bolts can a person shoot fethers with cb's? I wopuld prefer to changfe the rest first. thanks

Would suggest checking the PSE website for what is available for that bow.. or PSE customer service

Not to discourage you, but you will have a hard time finding info on that CB. There was not alot of CB's made with front elevated rest on them like a flipper or fork style. It must not have been a accurate setup since most have went to a non rest style set up and the arrow has full contact with the rail as it is shot. That CB must be pretty old, not to many of them left set up like that. Alot of guys like feathers and do well with them, its a preference thing. You could try the PSE site, they have a forum in there and maybe a guy could have some info on it. We never paper tune our CB's. Mainly since the main things to adjust for paper tuning are not on a CB like nock hight and rest adjustment. Good luck!
