I'll start my review here so all will know. IBOUGHT a pr. of Red Head Bonedry Boots, 1000 gram insulated. They're 3 ply nylon outer then rubber and nylon inside. I have used them between 2 1/2 hours and 5 hours a dayfer about 80 some days since last year and this year deer hunting. They developed holes in the outside layer on each boot and i don't use them still hunting. Use them in ladder stand. Bass Pro said only a year warranty even tho i only used themless than 3 months. They said ship them at my cost to their Springfield Mo. They wanted to look at the Boots! I would send them pic's but thats not good enough. So their $70 Boots failed ! First material failed and the 1000 grams of insulation wouldn't keep feet warm when temps got below 32 degrees!
Don't waste your money on them![:@]
Wish I could give you a answer but Ive had my Rocky Stalkers for 5 years now and I wear them all the time evenwhen its 0 deg with out a problem,and have really no wear except for the souls witch is normal in my book.
Iam also looking to buy new boots for hunting but havent really found one that I feel will work good for me yet like my Rockys.......
Ihave always had good luck with Red Head stuff, scopes, clothing and other things, but never tried boots.
I have had my eye on Rocky's new boots, all rubber full camo and go almost all the way to the knee with a very soft and flexible rubber. I tried a lot of boots on and these seem to be the most comfortable, and a lot of my hunting seems to be leading me into and across rivers. I just haven't had the heart to fork out $200 for boots just yet.
The wife is going shopping in the states for a few days next week, maybe she will find them there for a better price.

Thanks for the tip. I'm in the market for a second pair of boots. My Rockys have served me very well but hunting nearly every day during the fall leaves them a bit moist inside during warm weather. I've been looking at 1000 gram boots too but decided against it. Hear tell anything over 800 is just marketing hupla. My 600's are warm enough during the fall, when it gets cold (Minnesota Cold!) I'll be wearing my packs anyway.

Ok I was wrong..Just went downstairs and looked..Mine are Deer Stalker II's,1600 or 1800 grams the tag is worn off abit,the real only differance I see is the soul on the new ones are differant and they are only 1400 on the new ones.....
The site didnt show the new boot that they had on TV.
My Hodgman Muckbusters have given me a fit as well. They started leaking at the seam of the sole and foot. So far no wet feet, but the air they displace with each step makes a loud hissing noise, which intensifies as the boots get wetter, which makes them useless as hunting boots. This is only my second season in them and I only wear them when I hunt certain areas in or after bad weather, so they have only been in the field a few times. I know I'm hard on shoes (size 14 carrying 260 pounds around), but this is sad. The company suggested I use some of that wader repair stuff, so I'll try that, but I did expect more from a $70 pair of boots. Muck Boots next time.

That wader repair stuff is called SHOE GOO...It comes in a 3.7 oz tube and I use it alot,waders,rubber boots,water toys and tennis shoes.Its good if you apply it right and dont get it on your cloths and if you get it on your fingers(witch you will)get it off asp,it does come off but is easyer when still pliable...
I bought a pair of 800 gram Survivorsthinsulate from wallyworld and they are great for rabbit hunting, stalking. As long as your moving somewhat. I still use the $70 Mickey Mouse Boots for stand hunting. A little heavy but my feet have NEVER gotten wet or cold. No matter what the temp. I'd like to get a pair of Rocky's or such but can't really afford them.....

I use Shoe Goo for all kinds of repairs. It works great on my kids' toys when they have a mishap. I tried it on my boots, but the hole is so tiny and deep in the seam that it didn't work. I needed something thinner. Another product I use like that is Dynaflex, look for it in the caulk section. It can seal almost anything. There's even a marine version, Dynatrol, that can withstand UV radiation and salt water. If you get that on your skin, it has to wear off.
