Default A 1st for me and the Excal

I purchased a Excal Phoenix at the begining of the season. Last year I lugged around a compound Xbow, with no luck. This past friday I harvested my first deer ever with a Xbow. He was not the biggest, but will be remembered as one ofmy best. A 5 pointer, that I shot while still hunting on the ground, with no blind. I was up close and personal at 9 yards. I was able to get him in that close with the use of a bleat can. A pass thru shot, and a very short walk for the recovery. He maybe ran all of 20 yards. I have still yet to find the bolt. This Excal is very accurate and very deadly. Completly different from my previous Xbow.

Best of luck toeverybody, during thehunting season. Stay Safe.

DT
