Default I got A....

new place to hunt!! 28 acres right by town, 3 ponds, alfalfa patch, other food plots, feeders, loaded w/ deer. A friend is renting the house and property, owner gaven us permission to hunt it since he moved to Oklahoma. Going to throw a ground blind up about 10 am today, and eventually transfer a currently poorly placed ladder stand from my property to there. I haven't seen it yet, but according to friend it's wall to wall tracks. Haven't been this excited since I took my first shot out of an Excal, lol.

Went and checked it out today, water everywhere so no use setting up by a pond. Brush thick in alot of places, no real way to find bedding areas, they have their pick of spots. Did find a hay field w/ two sets of two oak trees in middle, kinda leaves xbow ranges on either side, so set ground blind up under a set of them. No acorns here this year to speak of, late spring frost wiped them out. took ladder stand out later in afternoon to set up at timber end of second hayfield, great for rifle season but not as nice as field ground blind is in, lol, and stuck my truck in low spot I didn't see til too late. Neighbor pulled it out w/ tractor for free, but will get a hind quarter sooner or later. More as it happens, thanks for kind thoughts!!

Lots of water and thick brush is a favorite hideout during high pressure times for big bucks. Put up some cams Dan.
