Default Some days I have to wonder..

I am about as graceful as a rock rolling down a hill..

Tonight I was keeping a sharp eye on the land I was cautiously approaching, looking for a break in the trees to set up in.. The wind was passing over my shoulder into a corn Field and forest.. Being new to this whole thing I walked right up on 2 deer eating away right in my downwind.. Oddly they bailed when they seen my clumsy butt walking up to them, but never caught my scent..[:@]
I now know I can beat the wind, my showering/clothes/sprays obviously work.. I also know I have a habit of looking in the wrong direction at the wrong times..

I think I am going to sell my bow and build a cage and do what I do best!

I get very discouraged when I walk all stealthy through a woods thinking I am on my game and doing good, and then I jump up a deer like I was rabbit hunting! Always makes me mad when they are close enough to get with a big rock if I was ready and I had no clue!

Carefully setting up in the dark and just when there isgood shooting lightmy pack or my releaseor my arrow hit the ground... Might as well clang a bell.
Or creeping a 1/4 mile to your stand only to lean against a dead tree that comes down like a brick sh$%house.
Oh the list is endless and is always waiting to rear it's ugly head....
