Need to know if anyone has ever mounted a laser sight on there crossbow, I have an excalibur exocet.
what kind would you suggest, and how to mount. Thanks. Steve
That would be like putting K-Mart tires on a BMW. That bow w/ proper arrow setup is capable of being accurate to at least 50 yds, which while a tad long for shots on deer, could be fine for turkey, yotes, moose, ect. A multi range scope will take alot of the guess work out of the equation, try a V-zone or L-zone [lit reticule], imho.
Put on a red dot. They are great, although after years of using one, I now have a scope. The red dot will give you about the same visual effect as a laser, but are legal!
I have a three, red-dot scope that came with my Xbow. The problem for me is the three dots are so close that they seem to be together looking like a vertical line. This will be the last season for this one. Now I want some magnification for these old eyes.
