Default Leopold /w Xbow Reticle

I love my leopolds and usually buy VXll's. The excal scope are a great scope for the price but sure don't suck in the light. I know Dan shoots a modifies one with Xbow reticles and was just wondering if they are still up to Leopold standards after the modification.I would have thought they would be more prone to fogging. Oh yeh.. How do you like those slick tricks Dan??

I don't know what Leupolds standards are as this is the only one I've ever owned. No problems w/ fogging. If I understood Danny right, the company, Premier, I think, that changed rets is no longer doing it or no longer in business, not sure which, but remember thinking now or never when I bought it. The 20 yd is a duplex, but the vert and rest of horizontal hairs are real thin, would not be the best choice for hunting.
I hunt w/ it because I can wait in am for more light and don't hunt late in pm for physical reasons [don't want to stumble around in dark on recovery]
