Default Crossbow for wife

Hello!
My wife wants to go bowhunting with me, she's very interested but has never shoot a bow or a crossbow. We think maybe a crossbow will be better for her and so we were looking at the PSE Viper Copperhead package or the Horton Summit 150. Any suggestions? Should we look at some bows as well?
Thanks

The lower end of the Parker line has some nice options you might check
out, also Ten Point has a few also.

If my wife wanted to give it a try i would go with a Excalibur Vixen or Phoenix.

Hi!! Welcome to the forum!! while none of the other suggestions are bad bows,I too would say a Vixen. While she is resting, you can amuse yourself shooting nickels at 30 yds. Forever.

I asked my wife if she wanted to go hunting... She said she was game, so I shot her.. I say buy her the vixen and get her up at 4AM on a cold wet morning. She won't want to go again and you get a new bow and credit for taking her out......
