Default Ground Blinds.. what do you wear inside?

Following up on the post about hunting from ground blinds, what do you all wear? I've read some people wear their camos while others where all black. Would it pointless to wear a leafy suit in a ground blind?

Just wondering since I'll probably be doing a majority of my crossbow hunging from ground blinds this year. I know some of you have this down to a science so just leaching off your knowledge.

Thanks!

I find that being naked works best for me. Early season hunting in a blind can get quite warm and if you roll around in the mud it keeps the scent down and the bugs away..

Black would work , or gray......but thiese colors still give the outline of the human shape if ur not careful of ur background. It would be best of u can break up the human form ..... put a sheet of Burlap from ur local feed store over ur shoulder , or ur head just to break up ur outline. U don't want to look like a solid blob. Everything in the woods lives in a 3D world.
I use 3D Leafy camo.....it has leaves on it front and back that flutter in the wind just like a real tree....even on the hood or face mask .
There is also a suit called a Ghillie suit ( put that in ur browser ) which makes u look like a bush and vines all over.....these are made of burlap or jute vine......and priced from $50 to well over $300.
For winter hunting , I use the mechanics white suit.....they are made of fine plastic coated paper which make them " throw aways". Even a white sweat shirt and white sweat pants will work for winter hunting.
Don't forget to cover ur hands too to blend in....I wear brown gardener gloves.....Walmart for a few dollars.

Thanks Bob. I ordered me an ASAT 3-D leafy suit but I just didnt knowwhetherit would be needed in the blind. I guess I can see what you mean by breaking up your outline, even in a blind.

Planter I had though aboutbeing nakedbutthe ticks and chiggers are so bad around the South that I dont think it would be a good idea.

Another thing to consider on the "Outline". Some blinds are carbon lined and naturally create the black background affect. You can where a black full knit face mask. Or, I like to drop all of my windows to create a see through affect from a distance and wear a full leaf head and face mask.

Just saw a documentary by some guy that calls himself the Deer Doctor. According to him deer can't see colors --- except blue. Guess that means you can wear anything but blue jeans.

I think they can see a range of blues to reds. They don't see the green spectrum. None the less, they do see ranges of the blues. From light to dark. If your in a ground blind, you can wear purple shorts and a T-shirt but you still have to camo (Break up) the outline of your face and head.

wear what is comfortable for you and quiet..
nice and soft, warm,
i wear jogging pants in black..

camo is not necessary but if it makes you feel good, fine...

i wore blue jeans and woolrich coat for many years and deer never saw me....
but jeans are not comfortable and not water proof if brush is wet..

i cant stress COMFORT not looks or camo ..i see kids with those stiff pants and jackets that scratch and make noise, not good for deer but they look like HUNTER in camo and carrying 300 mag...

see it all time...
get warm, soft and water proff if you can clothes, camo is not necessary but i like dark clothing......

Go to Wally World and get a black long sleeve T-shirt or sweat shirt for cooler weather. I have one of the Double Bull black hoods. Wear the above and you can't be seen. I try to set up for a 180 - max 270 degree field of view for a shot with the blind having a backdrop of brush behind it. Scent doesn't blow through and it's dark in there and the black makes you blend in. Having a background the blind doesn't have a roof line or stick out. I brush the roof in and some in front/sides to blend it in. Had deer within 5 yards on a same day setup doing that.

Well , betcha some deer will come to you if you were setting under a tree with you dressed in a 3 piece tux !!!!!
But that massive 14 pointer , naw.....you'll never see him.
He's too wise for games.
