Default Bow holdback device

Saw a contraption on TV with which a one-armed man could hold a conventional compound bow cocked and then fired it using his teeth (no kidding). Anyone know what it's called? Trying to inform similarly handiapped person.

Thanks. The person lost an arm in a hunting "accident" (intentionally shot while bow hunting), he's considering crossbows but wishes he could still use the vertical.

Draw lock is legal for all in Texas, but they keep knocking down crossbows. Go figure.
