Default Lumizone tuned and no wind!

Well I had a day off today so I was able to do some more shooting! I adjusted my twenty a little since I think some of my problems in my other post where being a little off at twenty was looking really off at forty and fifty. I also turned my speed ring up just a tad. I had no wind today and it was a nice cool day. I also should say in this post that I did not in the other is there is four pics of three arrows each. I did not only shoot 12 times. I would shoot groups of three and then take pics before pulling arrows to shoot another three. These are my best pics of my three shot groups at the different yards. I probably shot two or three times at each range. Shot the most at 20 since I was trying to make it perfect but was fighting the 1/2" clicks only and you have to settle for what you get. I think I am tuned in with the lumizone and the AWSHUCKS special pack! Now I just have to start over with the Tekan II's B-Heads.

20 Yards

30 Yards

40 Yards

And 50 Yards

Way to go Jason!! That's laying them in there. Are you using a FFF string?

Ranger: those were bench rested, needed to adj the L-zone.

James, Its all off of a Caldwell (sp) rifle bench rest, I think they called it the lead sled or something like that,on a wooden bench with me sitting in a chair nice and comfy chair. I load, watch the beans and make sure there is no wind and slowly start to squeeze! If I was to stand I would need a much bigger target for insurance and would not aim with a bean field in the back drop. Farmers tires are way to expensive for any of my stray arrows! LOL!!

Dan, I am still using the FFF string and the miller killers! Do you know what kind of string wax he uses? Seems like that stuff is on there nice and thick and holding up good too! I have notice that at the end of my CB between the lines and right up to where it bolts on I am getting a little build up of wax and stuff. Do you guys just clean it off or is it good to leave it build up? I do not know if it is something in the Excal wax, but never seen it with the Horton rail lube. Its not thick, but I can see the build up and scratch it off with finger nails.

Also, the L-Zone is working great! The only thing I see with it is it is still a little to bright in the last light even on the lowest setting. Am thinking of leaving it turned on for a couple of hours to see if it dims it down a bit. But I love the fact that I can turn it off and still use it with no lights on!

Miller doesn't use any wax or other lube, says the wax weakens the servings and promotes early failure. When I waxed I cleaned the rail up w/ a rag lightly soaked w/ WD-40. I don't think he prewaxes strings he sells, but rather there may be something already on the serving material he uses. I'm not really sure.

I am not sure either. There is enough of some sort of white substance that is on there that it flings off in little specs and sticks to the limbs. Looks like wax... who knows, but it sure works good!
