RE: Lumizone tuned and no wind!
James, Its all off of a Caldwell (sp) rifle bench rest, I think they called it the lead sled or something like that,on a wooden bench with me sitting in a chair nice and comfy chair. I load, watch the beans and make sure there is no wind and slowly start to squeeze! If I was to stand I would need a much bigger target for insurance and would not aim with a bean field in the back drop. Farmers tires are way to expensive for any of my stray arrows! LOL!!
Dan, I am still using the FFF string and the miller killers! Do you know what kind of string wax he uses? Seems like that stuff is on there nice and thick and holding up good too! I have notice that at the end of my CB between the lines and right up to where it bolts on I am getting a little build up of wax and stuff. Do you guys just clean it off or is it good to leave it build up? I do not know if it is something in the Excal wax, but never seen it with the Horton rail lube. Its not thick, but I can see the build up and scratch it off with finger nails.
Also, the L-Zone is working great! The only thing I see with it is it is still a little to bright in the last light even on the lowest setting. Am thinking of leaving it turned on for a couple of hours to see if it dims it down a bit. But I love the fact that I can turn it off and still use it with no lights on!
