Default Got my new bow today

I have been over seas for the last week and when I returned had my new excaliber at the house. Set it up and with the fiber optic sight I was almost splitting bolts at twenty yards. That you for all the help. My 11 year old was shooting three inch groups at 15yrds. Looks like this is going to be fun.

I got the pheonix cause it is a little smaller and light weight for my sons to shoot. I shot it last night and had it shooting 3in groups at 25 yrds. I am a die hard compound shooter when it comes to deer but the boys may have to fight me for the X-bow when we go hog hunting.

I don't much about other crossbows but its hard to go wrong with an Excalibur. Bought my Excalibur Exocet used in '99 and it has never given me one problem. I did put new limbs on last year togain some speedbut the old ones were still hunt worthy. Great quality equipment.

Congrats! The boys are sure going to have some fun too! I agree with awshucks, won't be long and you'll have to add another one to the family.
