Took my Hortonto the shop today, they looked it over and said it was like new.Question-most of the arrows that came with my Horton are Easton Lightning Strike 2 xx75 2219.With these arrows and my 125 grain muzzy's will I be good for elk out to 30 yards? I know I'm putting the cart before the horse I'm just stoked!
Thanks Bryan

Yes,
You shouldbe fine probably a little past that, but I have not hunted Elk. You will need to do some arrow spinning and tuning to make sure they fly well. Muzzy makes a good tip, so you should be in good shape there too.
the 2219's with a 125gr muzzy is a good combo for an arrow. you did'nt say which horton you have.....anything 175lbs and up should do ya. good luck on your elk hunt.

I'm shooting a Horton 175 max ! So far I love it. I shot a little tonight at 15 yards and that thing is a tack driver. No way I would aim at the same target twice I couldn't afford the arrows!
