I gotta say that the few Bow monkeys I go to don't hold a candle to this forum when I need advise!!!

The guy yesterday wanted to give me a goood deal on someHorton arrows for the Pheonix.. I said politely that I thought I needed flats knocks and his response was "NAW", whats the diff....
The otherdayanother guy was willing to just about give away last years Doe-in-Heat wizz. Stored at a comfortable 80 degrees..
Six months ago the guys backed the limbs so far out in the pockets of my Daughters Browning Micro Adreniline that it came apart in her hands..
Even last year when I first got my Pheonix I watched the guy fight with the string cocking aid for an hour saying sumpin was wrong.. There was, he had no idea what he was doing..Geez..
Jason and that brings me to you... " Hunting Doodads " are all those little things the shops and mags and shows tell us we need to be good hunters. The latest sight, or rest, or cams cause last years just plain S*&^. . If your bow is five years oldyuh gotta spend a grand to set up a fresh one. If your not shooting the latest arrow or broadhead you must be brain dead.
Don't get me wrong!!! I love all those little things that fill up my pack from the windicater on down.I got bleat cans in three sizes and enough grunt tubes to start a bandBUT none of those things make a good hunter. Heck!! I end up with so much stuff in my pack I can't find itanyway.
Practice, planing and patience are the stuff that really count and they are FREE!!!!
Just venting cause I spent last night playing cards with guys who don't pick up there bow or gun until a week prior to season. could not hit a paper plate at 20 yards. Well not the first shot anyway. Who don't set up stands and explore early if not all yearround. They sure do look good in their LL Beanor Orvis gear but still smell like bacon fat and motor oil.
So thanks>>>>>>Whack!
