Default Last day scouting..

My son and I went out last night for our last day of turkey scouting, ended up taking the long way home..
We dropped down into the river to cross it into some land we hunt, turned out his little quad didn't have the power to get back up the river bank, either that or his tiny 4 year old body didn't have the weight to sink the tires in.. I tried to winch him up, but it got too unstable. Our trip home was a long one, had to go all the way around to get to a bridge, almost a 2 hour detour.

At the bottom of the bank.

crossing the river..

Then some fun on the other side.. No wonder we didn't see any birds..

Looks like you had a HOOT of a time......I would trade that for building my garage and tearring out my lower patioanyday...
We live in a Age zone so if we want to ride I have to trailer our wheelers about 80 miles to have FUN like that........we cant ride May 15th thru Aug 4th or something like that.....We have to go north of Hwy 10 in Mn....Hwy 10 runs from Fargo ND/Moorhead Mn SE to Minneapolis Mn.
It pretty bad when you live in the country and cant go riding half the summer in your own back yard...............................
