Hey guys dose anyone own and shoot a barnett wildcat, I got a chance to get one for 75 bucks I don't know how old it is , SOMEONE ENLIGHTEN ME!!! , thanks John Boy
Barnetts are the most problematic xbow on the market. There are lots of B-nett owners that have never had a problem and may take issue w/ this, but it is common knowlege that you are more apt to have a problem w/ a B-nett than any other name brand bow.
i had a barnett rhino and it was not a very good x bow iam looking at a parker or a excalibur but who knows you may get a good ond that was built durinr the week instead of a monday or friday good luck angel
Many years ago I started with a Barnett Wild Cat. I soon found out it wasn't up to the task over about 15 yds. P.O.S. in my opinion. Save your money and get an excalibur you wont be looking at a new set up in a few years!
Ok here it is....i've been shooting a Quad400 for 2.5 years...its given me no problems at all....i've had it revamped every year since ,i've had it...i've heard all kinda of problems with them...but yet to see it physicaly in front of my face...i called Barnett and talk to their R&D honcho and he said thier no recalls on quad400....they've had lil problems with them.... so the smart thing to do is too call them if you have any concerns on your barnett.....most of the returns to Barnett were guys dry firing them and jamming the triggers and breaking them...otherwise its a great xbow and still the fasted out there for the money.....!!!! Honkers
Amen to that honkers i got me a 400 not a problem but if you ask all the deer i shot with it hummmmmmmmmm ooops guess you cant ask them there gone but they tasted good and i remember everyone....... love my barnett...
