Default Back to basics

Once I had archery down pat I moved on to a shotgun, I got so carried away with shooting the thing I put my true passion behind me for a while, my bow.
Turkey season snuck up on me and I ended up jumping into it with my new shotgun..I had no confidence out there, just a guy running around with a gun hoping to bump into a bird, it was getting pretty frustrating.
Tonight I decided to take my crossbow outside and run a few arrows through it, I forgot how much time and effort I put into that thing to make those arrows fly so well, not to mention the help I had around here.. I also forgot how good of a feeling it is to punch a hole in the target with something I made myself, for the most part.
Tomorrow I am bringing my Excal out there with me, it was tuned by information from friends andmodified with parts made by friends. That bow carries a lot of weight with me, an oddly important part of my life.

Well, add that to the fact that I can now blame you guys if I miss.

You all know who you are, so Thanks.

Thanks guys..
The door has been put on hold for a bit, I am obsessed with turkey hunting right now.. Up each day at 4:30 is taking it's toll on me.
I am running an add in the paper trying to locate old guns,I decided to make the door by welding lots of old guns together to act as the "bars" of the door. Once I get a few I will get started.
