I had the very best boss anyone could ever hope to have. He died in a scuba dive accident in fl. When ever he left, to go home, lunch, or wherever, he'd say, "I appreciate you". Most folks say, bye or see ya, but Drew would say I appreciate you. I try to remember to say it as often as I can, but I just don't havethe habit downpat yet as my friend Drew had.

"Any day above ground is a good day." I think of that when I hear someone biitch about the weather or something trivial.
A good friend who considered me his best friend was spending his last cancer ridden days at home and on one of my visits his wife and I were looking at him and she said "there's many people who have it worse".
I said two sayings but here's as third one and it's for you Squirrel. "Never trust anyone who carries his nuts between his teeth". LOL!

i survived cancer 5 years agoso every day above ground is a good day for me as well as sitting in the woods on a crisp maine morning waiting to ambush a nice buck with my crossbow and the words i have found to live are the ones my great grand dad told me the only good lesson in life is a hard one and for him telling me that i will forever greatful !!!!!!!!!!!!!my family is all gone now iam all thats left but i have a lot of fond fond memories of hunting with my dad as well as my grand father on those crisp cold mornings of november here in maine sweet memories we all should cherish life
