Default Does anyone use an Archery Range Finder

I am looking at this one though, Nikon Laser 440

Mag. 8X
Yards 440
Size3.7X2.8 (pack of cigs.) fits in the palm of your hand
Wt. 7ozs

Does anyone use it to mark a centain tree or post or anything at preset ranges?I have a 400yd Bushnell for Rifle and ML , but way to big to use for X-bow.

OK David, My bad! That's part of a Zeiss Diarange rifle scope, at $3,990 that is a range finder.

I use a range finder, but it's not made exclusivly for archery.. Is there such a thing? Mine is way bigger than that one in your photo too, it's a bushnell, low end model. Works great though.

I have the Nikon 440 uncamoed model. Black is good enough for me cause the way I think is, if I dropa camoed modelin the leaves, I'm gonna be hunting IT. The black can be found easily. LOL. Anyway, it works very well, easy to read for my old eyes, and as far as accuracy goes, it's dead on right everytime. If I was a filthy rich man, I wouldn't buy a $5000.00 model that would work any better for ME than my Nikon 440. Thank you very much.

RebelHog,

I also use a Bushnell Yardage Pro 400. After having a range finder I wouldn't hunt without it.

I use the Stanly 50' style!! LOL! I have thought about range finders but always just used a measuring tape and set up my "zone" around my stand. But now that I have the .204 Ruger I need one, judging 400 yards is impossible!

How long have you had your Ruger.204? Jason, have you ever used a Colluminator?

I have had my Ruger .243 for around 8yrs and I love to shoot it.
