I love the concept about the actual terrain photos of your location. I think its the direction alot of gps's are gonna go. But I have heard a few bad reviews on the Onix. I'm gonna wait for garmin or a well known gps company to come out with a model before buying one.
Also you must pay for the download of the maps. GPS are getting like a inkjet printer. They get you on ink and now I guess maps are the next meal ticket for them.

Dnk. I think you got a plan there,Dave could buy one,try it,then let us all try it and then we could see for ourselfs if its worth it......
What do you think Dave.......
Well, I think that if I got it and it didn't work then I would be lost and incapable of letting you all try it..
But I would be willing to give it a shot, I always have my GPS with me and on when I am in the bush. I like the thoughts of aerial photography too, but if the unit has issues than it is not the unit for me.

I have a hard enough time with everything my Maggellan will do .
