Default String??

I have a Excal Vixen, it calls for a 36" string, I took my string off and its only 35 1/4" long, I mentioned this before and all said it would stretch, but what I read, this 35 1/4" is for older carved tips, I have Magtips. I was just wondering if any of you have used these strings on your Excals?http://www.bowhunterssuperstore.com/index.php?cPath=41_534 Thanks Joe

Joey, as long as you acheive your brace height nothing else matters. The way these things are made it doesn't surpise me. No two bows are the same from string groove to string groove just like no two strings are the same precise length. Its ok. But the longer strings are made for mag tips because they need a longer string loop. If your string fits and you acheive a proper brace height then life is good!

I am pretty sure that is the first kill with one of Dons strings.. I got my arm caught in the safe door when I pulled them out to admire them once, but no fatalities..
