Default The Horton and Ten Point Videos!

I've just finished watching the Horton Chronicles I & II, along with the Ten Point DVD. I thought the Ten Point was the better went it came to showing the hunting. All the Horton hunts shown were too short. I'd like to see mistakes made and the explanations as to the who, when, where, why, and how come, along with the success. The mistakes made, shown and explained are good teaching tools for those of us who are willing to watch and listen. Tha ttype of video I'd watch over and over again for what I can learn.

The ten point was a good hunting DVD, I liked the music from the Horton ones though.. Particularly when the boar takes a hit and bails!

It would be nice to get a DVD that isn't biased to the the Bow company, there were quite a few shots of the Horton limbs throughout the scenes.

I don't mind the use on just one crossbow; but, I do prefer the non-perfect hunting situations. Not everyone makes a perfect shot. Not everyone makes a killing shot. Not everyone connects with every shot. What was the mistake? What could have been done to correct it?

The 1st deer i shot at with my crossbow, I didn't pay attention to where my limbs were and I slappped a tree next to my stand with the left limb and it caused a deflection of the bolt just enough so I watch it impact right along side the deer. Now I pay close attention as to what is close to my limbs and keep them clear.

There was one hunt for turkeys where there was a line attached to the bolt and came back to the crossbow. An explanation of that technique would have been great as to why and how come.

I'm not complaining! Seeing videos of crossbow hunts was enjoyable. I'd just like to see them done a little better with more who, when , where, why, and how come in them.

I to would like to see a bloopers video of the pros hunting some time. I think it would be a great thing to show. The best one I ever seen was one time I was watching Team Realtree shows with Michel Wadel, not sure could be wrong. But they shot a real nice buck, track it and find the deer. The guy walks up and lays his bow down and gets behind it and starts talking as he holds the rack up. Here's the good part, on TV you could see the deer blink three times! They never showed any more but the tape stopped about five seconds after the deer blinked! I would love to see the rest of that video!! Maybe they never even knew it but I thought it was funny!
