Default Barnett Wildcat C5

Is this crossbow considered to be a RELIABLE bow that one can get several years of hunting out of?I am looking at this one very hard and was wanting any input before i get it.It says its one of the most popular crossbows of all time.It is supposed to shoot around 320 fps which isnt shabby at all.Its also supposed to have a decent trigger on it.My main question would be with proper care could i expect years of good use?

Eddie, I have a barnett Revolution and a ranger 150. I think they make a
wildcat recurve and a compound, if the one you are looking at is a recurve it would not be as good a choice as the compound. If you are looking at a new one I would spend a little more and get a Excalibur Phoenix around $350.00 Ebay. Also Barnett is closed down for restructure and there are rumors of bankrupesy.

I also shoot a Barnett, love it,but what martinfaw said is very sound
advice. My wife surprised me by buying a cross bow for herself so
it has become a family sport now, good luck on your choice!
