You can see how the bolts are attached to the underside with those nut thingys. The white bar is just some kinda polymer that I had laying around that I used in lieu of cutting some wood. There are two washers between the white bar and the base. The hole in the white bar is one size bigger than needed for the bolt so that the string can be removed after serving. All you have to do is undo the wing nut and let the bar tilt and the string is free to be removed. Please feel free to ask questions.
I think the flemish string may be easier to make becuase there is less serving to do and the endless has to be served at the loops with a different sized serving thread.
