I have been having intermittent problems with my scope, I was sure it was my scope.. It feels like it has been going on for years but in fact I have only had this thing for about 6 weeks..
Anyhow, every now and then my scope would jump out of alignment by about 2 inches at 20 yards, it was killing me trying to figure it out, I took the scope assembly apart twice, re lock tightened everything, double checked everything that was possible.. Thought I had it fixed, until yesterday, jumped way out on me again.. Cost me another arrow..

So today I dug deeper, turns out the trigger assembly on the Excalibur is the same chunk that comes out the top of the bow, where the scope mounts, of all things my trigger assembly was loose.. I pulled off the stock (realized soon after I didn't have to) tightened the heck out of it and put it back together.. I decided to lock tite that too and again pulled it apart, This time I stripped the stock screw putting it back together.. I fixed that and now things seem to be fine again.. I can't help but wonder if that trigger assembly was my problem all along.. Excalibur is sending me a new scope anyways, when it gets here I will know for sure..
It's not a comfortable feeling not knowing what is making this thing jump out so often..
I needed to vent, it's been a frustrating day in crossbow land.
