Was just curious what everyone else in here does for fun that has nothing to do with hunting? I recently started skiing again. Did it some when I was 11 or 12 and never did it again. Then last year I went and was enjoying my self. So that is what cost me my Excalibur this Christmas. I went for a new pair of skis and not another Cb since I had one that worked and no skis. I plan on going Thursday if the weather holds up, but in my area we have little snow but it does get cold. The place I ski can make there own snow if it is below 30 out and then they can make over a foot a night. I also love working on cars and such, have a 90 454 SS Chevy truck that I am slowly working on too. Ijust signed up for some courses to get certified in welding and that starts next week and will last until spring. So what is everyone else doing in there spare time?

No, I mainly meant all hunting, I am sure we all have to have something that we do that does not involve hunting, but if not, thats cool, cause a good man can never have too much time in the woods! PM me the pics, I would like to see!

Well this time of the year my targets get a beating! I take my xbows and comounds to work and try not to hit my empoyees, even if they deserve it!
I also whine and complain and think about ice fishing, hunting turkeys, hunting turkeys, hunting turkeys, and then hunting turkeys. Gosh, I forgot, I think about hunting turkeys.
After turkey hunting is over its cottage time! Goof off at the lake, kayak, putter around the cottage and party, then try to capsize the kayaks! I was at the boat show last weekend and I bought a fourth kayak. It is a polyethelene 16 foot sea kayak. Should be cool!

We have a small camper we use each weekend, like to try different areas in north Ontario. Usually pack up Friday morning and head out.
This year I may switch to a motor home, that way we can bring the boat too..
I need to get back into my beer drinking and get back the belly I had before cocking this bow 100+ times a day for a month and a half.
There is nothing about winter that I like, a bit of ice fishing but that seems to be growing more difficult.
Is it too early to be thinking of spring?
