I was talking to an informed nameless source today. In addition to the neat stuff 10 pt brought out, here are a few more tidbits. I'm posting all I know about this stuff, btw. 1st off, Horton is offering a recurve, 225# called the "Legacy", two stock choices, thumbhole or conventional, should be interesting. Excal is bringing out 3 new bows, 2 appear to be stock changes on already produced mechanics, Exinox 225# and the Vortex 200 lb but they will be thumbhole types. The 3rd is a target bow. They also are bringing out a scope w/ lit reticules on I believe the V-zone, but am not sure on that. Also, a hard case to fit Excals.I was also told that a suppler had shipped 70 Strykers, and that 45 were returned already. I do not know if there was a problem w/ them or the guys that bought them were just wanting to play w/ them for free. Save your pennies, lol.

Why IN THE WORLD would Horton, an Ohio based company, produce a bow that cannot be legally used in Ohio? Our draw weight limit is 200#. Don't get it.[&:]

Yes Horton will be offering a new recurve design this year also. I was told that they have three new models of bow coming out this year with two of them being recurve, and one being a new style wheel bow. I was also told by them that they will soon be launching there own forum this summer too! As to what you said doe girl is does not make sense for Ohio. But plenty of others like to buy stuff that is legal in there home areas and Horton knows that bigger and larger numbers helps sell stuff to people that do not know what is needed to kill a deer.

Doegirl: I think I was told that 60% of Excals sales are the Emax, and am guessing Horton is after some of that market. you raise a good point though, maybe they are bringing out more than one, if so I don't know about it.
I hope what I am seeing on page fifteen is true! Cause that means I am extremely proud of another forum member, or another forum member just got hosed really bad!!!
