Default Nearly live elk hunt story:

Hey guys, I've noticed that most of you live in the east and primarily hunt whitetails. Would it be interesting for youto follow along on a western elk hunt in Colorado? My idea would be to do a running story during my upcoming hunt including pictures as I go so you would be able to see the terrain, etc. I would update nightly and my hunt would start Jan. 7 and the season runs through the 17th. (I can hunt until the 16th.). My tag is a rifle cow elk tag, but I would be using the crossbow for this hunt. I don't want to go through the work of posting every night if nobody would be interested so send a reply to this thread if you would like to join this "cyber campfire". Thanks. Grndhntr.

That sounds like a great Idea! Are you just wanting to post every night and us post back while you are on? Or just post so we can read of your hunt for the day? I can't guarantee that I will be on when you are but I will read for sure! Sounds kinda like the "your hunt today day thread" but just for your elk hunt, sounds good!

Hotburn, I was just thinking I would post for your reading pleasure, but you could sure post comments as well. I got the idea from reading the semi-live bowhunts on bowsite. I always enjoy those because you are reading it as it happens (almost)...at least the same day.

Anyone else? I've only gotten 5 responses so far. I would like at least 10 so that I know someone's getting something out of it. Anyone else interested in following an elk hunt as it unfolds?
