Default Excalibur factory settings

In the past weekI have shot heavy, light, fast , slow, bright, dull, stock and modified..
I like the Laser II, gold tip bolts..Stock.
I am new at this, my experience is limited as is my knowledge.. Here is what I know:
I bought the Gold tip II and liked them, light fast and as accurate as a newbie could want..
I evolved, I learned more... I tried different combinations and still had the best luck with Gold tip II, 5" vane.. and a Field point.

Running all the options through my head I can see smaller, lighter vanes gaining a bit of an edge, and I am all in... The wind around here can change on the turn of a dime, with consistencyI Can beat the draft.

I want the Gold tip II, aluminum insert, a slick trick broad head and a clear shot.., the rest of the story is in the freezer.

Well said. You'll change or you won't and it won't matter one way or the other. Your set up will certainly work to be sure. You may or may not change it again. My set up remained unchanged for more than 10 years and my changes have been recent and came from no particular reason. The only real improvement in my eyes is going to a tough cut on contact broadhead. Your confidence in your set up is more important than the set up itself. The most important part of your set up has already been picked out, the bow! What are you using for sights?

Ihave the Vari-Zone, I can't imagine life withoutit...
Tonight the wind was abrupt, uncommonly harsh.
I tried heavy, light, slow and fast, each time rendered different results..
