Default Disapator Pads??

Hey guys.. When I replaced the limbs on my Pheonix I over tightened the hex screws holding the pads in place and stripped the metal screw holes but not the screws. I just need a QUICK source for replacement as one of them is in the woods somewhere. Will I hurt the bow by shooting it without the pads? Thanks.>>>>>>>>>>Wha ck!!

Planter: just take them both off, you'll be ok for this season. You will need to either get that riser heli-arced and re-drilled and tapped or another riser from Danny. I'm reading your post that it's the riser that is stripped, but just realized you could have got lucky and just stripped the threads in the pads themselves, a much easier and cheaper, lol, problem to solve. When you take the d.p. bars off, check them w/ a straight edge to see if they got bent any in the dry-fire. Go gig a gagger!!

you can shoot the bow without the pads and bars,, you could probably get replacements from Dan Miller in a couple of days , but you will not hurt the bow shooting it without them,

It is just the disapator pad screws holes that are stripped. I am pretty sure I just need new pads and not the whole disapator assembly. I guess I will just take the other pad off for now and order up a pair. Thanks Guys.>>>>Whack!

During the summer I shoot my bow with out them but the brackets still on. I put a small ball of wax on the limb just under the arm to make sure there no contact. Wack yourself! LOL!
