Real nice forum you guys have here. Tomorrow is opening day in Missouri. I'm shooting an Exocet with 100 grain Slick Tricks. Shooting two in groups out to 35yds. The truck is loaded and the temp. in the morning will be in the lower 50's. Life is good. Best of luck to you in the up coming season, and be careful out there. Tom

Hey y'all 8 more hours and deer season opens. Its been bad thundestorms and rain, also in the 80's and miserible. I just ain't into getting sopping wet and hot wid skeeters all over me and biting![&o]
Nothing sucks more then to get into stand and have the desire to take off your gear and sit in a t-shirt sweating like a pig!

Hey opening morning sucked, i was so pumped to go. I should have done like i did last year. Stayed at home and didn't hunt until Nov. and some nice cool weather had rolled in. Well 86 degree's and 30-50 mph gusting winds and 492 danged biting worrysome skeeters put my fat butt back to house after hour and a half! Rain son its coming down frog stranggler, let me tell u it started a light rain and i come outta dat stand liked a fire was up my rear! Dem clouds was so dark i thought it gonna get nite again in 2 hours. I had gotten up in stand half an hour befored sun up. I saw one old grey squirrel covered in fleas, so i knew right away it was the killa23. Yup had one of dem tiny Dortons on his back wid sling! HEHEHE! He was shaking like a leave in those winds!
