When I first switched to carbon I thought that the alluminums shot a little better but not enough to not want to not use the carbons. I can still bust nocks with the carbons just not as much. But the reason I stayed with the carbons was that I was always bending my arrows. With the carbons they never bend and are nice and straight.

Not to argue but I still have and use aluninum arrows. If you're carbons are not flying well you should check your FOC and total weight as recommended by the manufacturer of your bow.

Hortons are designed a bit different, they pick up the back of the arrow and only the front of the groove remains in contact; there for they spine out the arrow different. My friend has a 175# legond sl so far [he has not had it very long ] only the 2216 xx75 shoots real good I expect we will have to fined a carbon arrow that duplicats that spine if he decieds he wants to use carbon. Personally I would say if its not broke then don't try to fix it. Lee

I've got a selection of various carbons here that a friend bought two or three each at various times and wondered why his bow wouldn't group. It's in the arrows, I've done some serious benching w/ them and they are junk, imho. Since there are new names on here almost daily, I'm gonna risk boring you old timers w/ the fact that my GT L II's 431 gr, 4" vanes brass inserts, fly like darts w/ foc of about 20%. If anyone wants to try carbons, these are the pick of the litter in my book.
